Privacy Policy

Detaillr is a mobile car-detailing service. This policy explains what the Detaillr iOS app and our servers collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your name and email address (Apple may give us a private relay address). We use these to identify your account and send receipts.
• Contact and location details you enter. Phone number, service addresses, gate codes or parking notes, and vehicle details (year, make, model, color, plate). We need these to show up at the right car.
• Bookings and payments. The services you book, dates, prices, and payment status. Card and Apple Pay details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Notifications. If you allow push notifications we store your device token so we can tell you when your detailer is on the way, when the job is done, and reminders before an appointment.
• Detailer location. While your detailer is driving to you, the app shows their live position on a map. That location belongs to the detailer, not you. We do not collect your device location.
• Diagnostics. Apple may share crash reports with us through App Store Connect if you have opted in on your device.

How we use it

To schedule and perform details, take payment, send booking updates and reminders, provide support, and prevent fraud. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Stripe processes payments (Stripe privacy policy).
• Apple delivers push notifications and Sign in with Apple; Google provides Google Sign-In if you choose it.
• Vercel and Neon host our servers and database in the United States.
• The detailer assigned to your booking sees your name, address, vehicle, notes, and phone number so they can do the job.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and booking history while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your profile, addresses, vehicles, device tokens, and bookings; completed payment records are retained by Stripe as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Your choices

You can turn off push notifications in iOS Settings, remove saved addresses and vehicles in the app, and cancel bookings according to the Terms of Service.

Children

Detaillr is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
